Baseball Recap: McGehee Takes a Loss

McGehee came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Harmony Grove Hornets by a score of 8-6 on Thursday. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Mason Clemons was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of McGehee's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-2 (and 0-4 when he doesn't).
