Argo entered their tilt with Tinley Park on Thursday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Titans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Argonauts also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

Argo easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15.

Sebastian Pardol paced Argo's offense, picking up eight kills. Pardol got some help from Konrad Tylka and his 21 assists. Pardol also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jonathan Haley, each putting up two.

Despite the loss, Tinley Park still got an impressive performance from Nathan Mungcal, who had eight kills, three digs, and two aces. Mungcal has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last seven times he's played.

Argo's win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Tinley Park, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Argo will take on rival Richards at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Tinley Park is set to challenge their familiar foe Oak Lawn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
