Basketball Recap: Christ the King Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Christ the King, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Langtree Charter Academy Lions by a score of 56-48 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Langtree Charter Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carlson Johnson, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in points. Martynas Petrauskas was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine boards.
