Collierville has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bartlett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Dragons will head out to challenge the Panthers at 4:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Collierville didn't have quite enough to beat Arlington and fell 4-3. The Dragons have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bartlett took on Southwind on Tuesday. The Panthers never let the Jaguars get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. That looming 16-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Tamra Eason made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Brenlee Suarez and Codie Rae Walter did most of the damage at the plate: Suarez got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Walter went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs Walter has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Briley James, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI.

Bartlett was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Collierville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9-1. As for Bartlett, their record now sits at 4-23.

Collierville took their victory against Bartlett in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 13-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
