Recap: St. George's Dragons vs. Northwest Christian School Crusaders
The St. George's Dragons were the 59-55 winner over the Northwest Christian School Crusaders when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. St. George's fell 58-46 to Northwest Christian School on Tuesday. St. George's has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
Northwest Christian School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Asher West, who scored 22 points. The contest was West's 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avi West, who scored 15 points.
St. George's has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Northwest Christian School, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.
St. George's will be playing in front of their home fans against Asotin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Asotin is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Northwest Christian School, they will head out on the road to face off against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
