Windsor waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Nandua Warriors. While the Dukes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Windsor's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Nandua, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sussex Central at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dukes 3.1, the Tigers 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Nandua, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Salisbury Christian at 4:00 p.m.
