Baseball Recap: Byram Hills Bobcats vs. Walter Panas Panthers

Byram Hills won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They lost 13-2 to the Walter Panas Panthers. It was the first time this season that Byram Hills let down their fans at home.

For Walter Panas' part, Nick DiMaso made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. DiMaso was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Nick Caputo was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Tristan Pagliettini, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Byram Hills' loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Walter Panas, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
