Preview: Umatilla vs. Vale
Umatilla have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Vale at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Umatilla, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Things haven't been easy for Umatilla, and their game two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to three. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-38 punch to the gut against Burns two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Vale took their match against Irrigon last Friday by a conclusive 48-14 score. The success made it back-to-back wins for Vale.
