West Stokes came tearing into Wednesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Morehead Panthers as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Wildcats have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Stokes' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Morehead, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Stokes will welcome McMichael at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morehead, they will host North Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
