Volleyball Recap: Mather Comes Up Short

The Mather Rangers came up short against the Disney II Titans on Wednesday and fell 2-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Disney II scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Mather's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-6-1. As for Disney II, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1.

Mather wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Marine Leadership Academy on the 25th. As for Disney II, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Clark on the 25th.
