Volleyball Recap: Kossuth Triumphs

Kossuth won the last time they faced New Albany and things went their way on Thursday too. The Aggies came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aggies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 17-25, 25-13.

Dallyn Haupt paced Kossuth's offense, picking up 17 kills. Haupt got some help from Brenyn Wilbanks and her 30 assists. Willow Hatcher controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Kossuth now has a winning record of 2-1. As for New Albany, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-3-2.

Looking ahead, Kossuth will face off against Tishomingo County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for New Albany, they are taking a road trip to square off against Pontotoc at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
