Volleyball Recap: Mt. Madonna Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mt. Madonna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the More Knights. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Mt. Madonna took More into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-19, 25-21, 24-26, 15-12.

Mt. Madonna's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for More, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mt. Madonna will head out to face off against Harbor at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for More, they will venture away from home to square off against Design Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
