Baseball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington fell victim to Big Walnut and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Minutemen haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Big Walnut, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Lexington will welcome Mansfield Senior at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Big Walnut, they will head out to take on Bishop Watterson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
