Baseball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Twin River Titans, falling 11-3. The Broncos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Devin Slawnyk was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Twin River, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Centennial is set to take on their familiar foe Fairbury at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Twin River will face off against rival Tekamah-Herman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
