Carson came out on top against Hug on Friday thanks in part to Brayden Welch's efforts. Welch produced his best game of the campaign: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made four total tackles (2.0 for loss). He is becoming a predictor of Carson's success: when he posts at least three total tackles the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
