Football Recap: Mary G. Montgomery Skates Past Baldwin County with Ease

Mary G. Montgomery put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 45-0 victory over the Baldwin County Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won three games by 37 points or more so far this season.

Mary G. Montgomery was led to victory by Kamron Smith and Jeremy Menhennett. Smith rushed for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries, while Menhennett threw for 168 yards and two TDs. Smith got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 76 yards. Mary G. Montgomery's leading receiver Jakenyon Allen was Menhennett's top target yet again, picking up 75 receiving yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mary G. Montgomery was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 303 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
