Andrew Casagrande Delivers Best Performance of Season

Pearce was led to victory by Andrew Casagrande, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Casagrande picked up 187 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 52 yards.

Dallas Jesuit's probably not too fond of Casagrande given he always seems to get the better of them. Casagrande rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Rangers duked it out back in September of 2023.

Carloz Castillo Dazzles in Nimitz Loss

Carloz Castillo continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fifth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least six total tackles. He made 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Nimitz's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. Castillo and Nimitz will stay at home for another week and welcome Richardson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Trent Holley Turns in Season-Best Effort

Trent Holley produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pearce to the win on Friday. Holley picked up 120 receiving yards, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Stotts Posts Huge Game in 48-42 Victory

Another Pearce player making an appearance on this list is Luke Stotts. He picked up two sacks and made six total tackles. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

This season, Stotts has averaged 6.4 total tackles per game and for the season has 7 sacks. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had 1.5 sacks.
