Basketball Recap: Maple Hill Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Germantown last Friday, Maple Hill came back down to earth. The Maple Hill Wildcats took a 73-58 bruising from the Hudson Bluehawks on Saturday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluehawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Leading Hudson to victory were Keith Robinson and Gannon Logue. Robinson posted 36 points, while Logue scored 19 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Robinson has scored at least a third of Hudson's points.

Maple Hill's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5. As for Hudson, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-3 record.

The future could be bright for both Maple Hill and Hudson: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Maple Hill will try to hand Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Hudson will look to extend Germantown's three-game losing streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
