Volleyball Recap: Adrian Comes Up Short

If Adrian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Ypsilanti on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Maples lost 3-0 to the Hanover-Horton Comets on Saturday. The Maples were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2016.

Adrian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12-1 record this season. As for Hanover-Horton, they pushed their record up to 23-1-1 with the win, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season.

Adrian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Western on the 11th. As for Hanover-Horton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hudson on the 11th.
