It was a good run, but Clever unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 9-3 to the Buffalo Bison.

Piper Steele made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.

Clever's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Buffalo, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Clever will host Strafford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Buffalo has already played their next game (against Warsaw), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
