Ripon Christian dropped down to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Catholic Raiders. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Ripon Christian still got an impressive performance from Jake Vander Veen, who posted 20 points. That was a full 40% of the Knights' points, marking the fourth time in a row Vander Veen has scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mason Tameling, who earned eight points.

As for Central Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly 13 points.

Zach Ishmail was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.8% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Magana, who put up 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

Ripon Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-50 defeat against Beyer on the 13th. As for Central Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-47 loss against Gregori on the 13th.
