Soccer Recap: Chase Comes Up Short

Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Polk County Wolverines. While losing is never fun, Chase can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 480th, while Polk County are ranked 125th).

Chase's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Polk County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2-1.

Chase wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 defeat against Patton on the 1st. As for Polk County, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against East Rutherford on the 1st.
