Basketball Recap: Tallassee Comes Up Short

Tallassee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats, falling 83-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (58), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Tallassee still got an impressive performance from Rowen Thornton, who posted 24 points. Another player making a difference was Rush Wright, who put up nine points.

Tallassee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Trinity Presbyterian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Tallassee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 76-44 loss against Booker T. Washington on the 23rd. Trinity Presbyterian has also already played their next game (against LAMP), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
