Softball Recap: Kingston Comes Up Short

Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Bourbon War Hawks. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Kingston's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Bourbon, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bourbon beat Kingston by a score of 20-5 later that day.
