Softball Recap: Selinsgrove Takes a Loss

Selinsgrove lost against Jersey Shore on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Seals came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-2. The contest marked the Seals' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Selinsgrove saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Yerger, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Selinsgrove now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Jersey Shore, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, Selinsgrove will square off against Shikellamy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jersey Shore, they will face off against Warrior Run at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
