Softball Recap: Mullen Mustangs vs. Arapahoe Warriors
Mullen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 18-7 to the Arapahoe Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 16-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Morgan Stewart was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Giselle Weber, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Mullen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Arapahoe, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Grandview the next time they take the field. Mullen will host Grandview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Arapahoe will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
