Basketball Recap: Joshua Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Joshua Christian Academy played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through an 82-34 loss at the hands of the Providence School Stallions. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-21.

Providence School found their leader in sophomore William Stewart, who went 9-for-15 on his way to 24 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Gornto, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 18 points and three steals.

Joshua Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Joshua Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 77-38 victory against Victory Christian Academy on the 21st. As for Providence School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-44 win against Bolles on the 22nd.
