Soccer Recap: Ambridge Starts Season with Victory Against Eden Christian Academy

Ambridge had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over Eden Christian Academy on Saturday. It was an even better day for Norah Marchionda as she scored three goals for her team.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ambridge will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Winchester Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eden Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Freedom Area at 3:45 p.m. on September 15.
