It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Warren ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bradford Owls 2-1. This was payback for Warren, who suffered a 5-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Ava Wymer and Meea Irwin scored both of Warren's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Warren has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those six matchups. As for Bradford, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.
