St. Edward, Chandler move into rankings after capturing state crowns.

Chandler (Ariz.) and St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio) each jumped into this week's Composite Top 25 rankings after grabbing state crowns.
The Wolves won their third straight 6A Arizona title with a 65-28 pasting of Perry (Gilbert, Ariz.), while the Eagles dethroned unbeaten Colerain (Cincinnati) with a 24-10 state title win.
The other big winner of the week was De La Salle (Concord, Calif.), which beat Liberty (Brentwood, Calif.) 42-7 to win its 27th consecutive North Coast Section title and move into the CIF Open Division state title game Saturday against No. 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.). Saturday's game is a rematch of last season, a game the Monarch won 52-21 on their way to being named National Champions.
Only schools recognized by two or more media outlets are eligible for
inclusion in the composite rankings. Teams were assigned a score of 40
for each media outlet that did not recognize them as part of their Top
25, rewarding teams that received consensus acclaim.
