Basketball Recap: South Whidbey Falcons vs. Bush Blazers
South Whidbey lost against Bush back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The South Whidbey Falcons received a blow as they fell 74-57 to the Bush Blazers. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cody Redford, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Redford is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Davis, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards.
Having lost for the first time this season, South Whidbey fell to 2-1. As for Bush, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Whidbey will square off against Summit Sierra at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Bush, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Bear Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bear Creek has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 202 points over their last three matches.
