Baseball Recap: Creekside Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Creekside had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Bishop Kenny Crusaders on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Creekside saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zack Jackson, who scored a run and stole one base while going 1-for-3. What's more, Jackson also racked up two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Bryce Wade was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creekside will head out to challenge Providence School at 6:30 p.m. on February 11th. As for Bishop Kenny, they will head out on the road to square off against Oakleaf at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
