After starting their season with four straight games on the road, Hermann is finally coming home. They will welcome the Union Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hermann is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row dating back to last season, Hermann finally turned things around against Wellsville-Middletown on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with an 18-2 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bearcats have posted since September 30, 2023.

Delilah Nobel made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Nobel was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Kimber Hale was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Riley Kleinheider, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Hermann always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .767. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Union had just enough and edged Seckman out 6-5 on Friday.
