Softball Recap: Central Magnet vs. Franklin County Rebels
Central Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin County Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Franklin County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 last Thursday.

Juliet Dasch and Taylor Nickerson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Dasch scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Nickerson scored a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave Nickerson a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Croasdaile, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Central Magnet kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
