Spring Woods won against Sterling  on Wednesday with 13  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp  13-2 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by ten  runs or more this season.
  Jack Lafleur was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. That  double marked the first that  he has  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Andrew Barbosa, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
Spring Woods is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Sterling,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-12-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Woods will head out to  face off against Milby  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Sterling, they will venture away from home to  take on Waltrip  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
