Baseball Recap: Central Makes It 17 in a Row at Home

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Central walked away with it. They walked away with a 4-1 win over Carver High School of Engineering & Science on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Lancers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Central pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
