Basketball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Northside Patriots ended up a good deal behind the Central Lions and lost 55-38.

Northside has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season. As for Central, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside will face off against Jonesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Northside is facing Jonesboro at the right time seeing as Jonesboro is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Central, they will square off against Griffin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Griffin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
