Soccer Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Brewer Patriots. While losing is never fun, Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Brewer are ranked 77th).

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Brewer, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Lee will challenge Mae Jemison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brewer, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Pennington on the 4th.
