Baseball Recap: Bishop Canevin Takes a Loss

The Bishop Canevin Crusaders came up short against the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals on Saturday, falling 12-2. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop Canevin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for DuBois Central Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Bishop Canevin will face off against Springdale at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dynamos have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cranberry Area on the 14th.
