 Oak Ridge was the  7-4 winner over Granite Bay when they last played one another  last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Oak Ridge Trojans wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 11-5 walloping at the hands of the Granite Bay Grizzlies on Thursday.
  Andrew Del Pizzo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.  Ryan Hubbard was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 On Granite Bay's side,  Jack Stannard tossed a big game,   tossing six innings while giving up  four earned runs off   five  hits. Stannard has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Jimmy Radler and  Ben Straw did most of the damage at the plate:  Radler  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Straw  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Jace Bystrowski, who  scored a  run and  stole a base.
 Oak Ridge's loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-11. As for Granite Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
 Oak Ridge will head out on the road to  challenge  Del Oro at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Del Oro's pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so Oak Ridge's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Granite Bay, they will square off against Mater Dei at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
