Softball Recap: Peninsula Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Peninsula was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to the Enumclaw Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Seahawks have suffered since April 1st.

Ava Miranda was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Peninsula's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Enumclaw, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2.

Peninsula wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-3 victory against Decatur on the 17th. Enumclaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
