West proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Robinson Rockets 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since August 14th.

West was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (105-98), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-22, 25-20, 19-25, 15-13.

West now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Robinson, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 18-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will square off against Lake Belton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Robinson, they will be playing at home against Rio Vista at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
