Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity). They blew past the Highlands Latin Highlanders 19-1 on Tuesday. The Shamrocks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Trinity's third in a row) raised their record to 19-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Highlands Latin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will head out to challenge Floyd Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Highlanders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Shamrocks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Highlands Latin, they will venture away from home to square off against Atherton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
