Softball Recap: Byron Gets the Win

Byron came out on top against St. Charles on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Bears took their game against the Saints 9-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Tallie Behrens was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Norah Brown also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Byron's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for St. Charles, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Byron will square off against Stewartville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Charles, they will challenge Caledonia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
