Basketball Game Preview: Wahoo Warriors vs. Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays

Wahoo has gone 9-1 against Ashland-Greenwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wahoo Warriors will be home for the holidays to greet the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. Wahoo will be strutting in after a victory while Ashland-Greenwood will be coming in after a defeat.

Wahoo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed a 44-38 win over Standing Bear on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 22-22 at the break, but the Warriors were the better team in the second half.

Wahoo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addy Hancock led the charge by putting up 18 points. The dominant performance gave Hancock a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gretchen Seagren, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Ashland-Greenwood played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Plattsmouth 53-21. The contest marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ashland-Greenwood dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Wahoo, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
