It was a good run, but Pike Road unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Brewbaker Tech Rams by a score of 67-65. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Patriots came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Rams are ranked 283rd).

Pike Road's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4. As for Brewbaker Tech, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8.
