Baseball Recap: Baldwin County Takes a Loss

Baldwin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets, falling 10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Tuesday.

Baldwin County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for McGill-Toolen, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: McGill-Toolen beat Baldwin County by a score of 13-6 later that day.
