Bayside hadn't beaten Rockledge on the road since November 17, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Bears skirted past the Raiders 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Bayside sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Evan Light and Wendito Talabert scored both of Bayside's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Bayside's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-3. As for Rockledge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-1 record this season.

Bayside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Space Coast on the 9th. As for Rockledge, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eau Gallie at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
