Basketball Recap: South Eugene Comes Up Short

South Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the Willamette Wolverines, falling 68-20. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-17 back in January.

South Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Willamette, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, South Eugene will challenge North Medford at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Willamette, they will face off against South Medford at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Medford comes in on four and Willamette on 12.
