Soccer Recap: McMinn Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Polk County on Thursday, McMinn Central came back down to earth. The Chargers came up short against the Soddy Daisy Trojans on Monday, falling 6-0. McMinn Central have struggled against Soddy Daisy recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

McMinn Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Soddy Daisy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3-2.

Coincidentally, McMinn Central and Soddy Daisy will both be playing Brainerd the next time they take the pitch. The Trojans will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Chargers will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
